MARIE BRIDGER
Marie was admitted to the Bar in 1988 and is an accredited mediator. She has a background in education and practices across all aspects of family law, family provision claims, succession and will disputes, equity, intergenerational conflict in rural areas and elder law. Marie is accredited as a mediator and arbitrator for financial disputes under the Family Law Act.
With over 38 years of legal practice, Marie is well-known and respected as a barrister, mediator, and arbitrator. Before studying law, Marie worked as a high school teacher in rural and urban NSW and the UK.
Marie continues to practise in regional NSW and has chambers in Orange and Sydney.
Marie’s background working in regional NSW has also given her a particular interest in rural dispute resolution, including intergenerational disputes.
